New Teacher Residence, Water and Solar Power to Site
In May 2018, we completed the construction of the second teacher family residence. Our sponsor donor, Safari Partners Inc of Vancouver BC, has provided the funding for the residence as well as a water pipeline project and a solar power system.
Teacher Emmanuel Jacob can now move out of his temporary abode in the administration building storage room and finally bring his family to the school to live with him in a proper home.

With electricity from solar panels mounted on the Administration building's roof, the classrooms and residences have lighting and power outlets for small loads like battery charging and computers.
The most important development however, is the piping of water to the site. This is a huge improvement to the quality of life for the teacher families living there, saving long tedious cattle-driven cart trips to a source many kilometers away.
The site now has an Administration building, a 2-classroom building and accommodation for two of its teachers. The next requirement is a 3-classroom building where we will seek donations of $35,000 for its construction cost.

New Teacher Residence Building
As of May 2018, the construction of the long awaited teacher residence building is finished, thanks to the generous donations of David Green and the Sun Star Fund from the Victoria Foundation in Victoria, Canada.
The contribution of David, an ex-cadet from the Royal Military College, Kingston, Canada, is in memory of his father, former naval Commander Jim Green and his wife Jane. Accordingly, we installed a plaque on the left residence entrance wall which includes a note "may this residence be a happy place".
The site now has two 2-classroom buildings and accommodation for two of its teachers. The next requirement is a 3-classroom building where we will seek donations of $35,000 for its construction cost.
